How does NativShark teach kanji?

NativShark primarily uses language in context to help you learn kanji.

Seeing kanji in context is essentialy to fully learning what an individual kanji truly means.

We used a mixed approach to kanji teaching.

First, a kanji is taught in isolation in a kanji flashcard. Then that kanji is used in words and phrases.

This mostly only happens in the earlier lessons, but you will occasionally encounter words that contain unknown kanji. Since our system has furigana, this doesn't stop you from understanding how to pronounce the word. And that word helps reinforce the meaning of the kanji when it appears in your lesson flashcards after that kanji in particular has been taught to you.
