    May 2024 monthly update shark_whoa

    As a quick summary:

    We published 16 new Phase Three Units and reached Milestone 37 on Nativshark while adding more newsletters to the archive here on the help site. 

    We also fixed various typos and styling issues that were reported by our fellow learners in the Discord community.

    Units

    We published 16 new Phase Three Units this month, containing...

    • 68 lesson sentences
    • 195 new vocab sentences
    • 16 Dialogues

    We also released Milestone 37 this month:

    Milestone 37:
    Double Negatives
    You're highly familiar with uses of double negatives in Japanese.

    And two new progression badges:

    Unit 214:
    Radio Calisthenics
    You know what big groups of old people are doing in the park in the morning.

    Unit 223:
    City Hall
    You know how city/ward offices are a big deal in Japan.

    Fixes

    • Fixed formatting issues on various places of the app site due to a browser update.
    •  Fixed typos and missing highlights throughout the core study path.
    • Updated several lessons to improve explanations or add more details
    • Updated the subscription page on the app site to make it clearer that USD is being charged (rather than AUD or CAD, for example).
